Have you heard? The Sudbury Arts Council is offering a special program for artists to help them start a business or bring their existing business to the next level. Artrepreneur is a nine-week program comprised of weekly evening sessions beginning on January 19, serving artists and creative entrepreneurs in disciplines such as: visual arts, dance, theatre, film, music, jewelry, fashion and game design. By the end of the program, participants will have completed a business pl...an, learned about marketing, publicity, accounting, finances, fundraising, partnerships and more. Upon successful completion, participants receive a program certificate. Cost of the nine-week program is $150 with a special rate of $130 for members of the Sudbury Arts Council. The Artrepreneur curriculum is COVID-19-adapted online program of weekly seminars, workshops, assignments and mentorships. Shots, a play by Garrett Carr, opens tomorrow! Running October 15 & 16, this interview-based play was written as a response to the shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in 2016.
