When Sugarfoot's previous owners, who were ageing, met my daughter - they knew they Sugarfoot and her were going to hit it off and that Sugarfoot would have a full life. Sugarfoot is 17 years old and was born sometime in spring so we always celebrate his birthday on March 1 as this was the day he came to live with us.
