Holiday season is officially here which means its time for ALL things festive. I am happy to bring you my Christmas menu for all your cupcake needs. I have kept some favourites from last year but also added a couple new fun versions of some well loved Christmas baked goods. Peppermint Hot Chocolate: hot chocolate cupcake, candy cane ganache filling, topped with a marshmallow peppermint buttercream. ... Sugar Cookie: vanilla cupcake, topped with a sugar cookie buttercream, and cookie crumbles. Red Velvet: red velvet cupcake, cheesecake filling, topped with a fluffy cream cheese frosting. Gingerbread: spiced cake, topped with a cinnamon ginger buttercream and a gingerbread man on top. Buckeye: chocolate cupcake, topped with a peanut butter buttercream, and a buckeye on top. Christmas Toffee: chocolate cupcake, salted caramel filling, topped with a chocolate fudge buttercream, caramel drizzle, and a piece of Christmas Crack. Cupcakes will be 6/$15 12/$30 with payment by EMT when ordering for confirmation. Minimum of 2 per flavour when ordering. For anyone from the Oshawa area looking to order for Christmas, I will be in town delivering porch drop-offs one day only on December 23rd. For Quinte area Christmas Day orders, local porch pickup will be available December 23rd & 24th in Frankford. The cut off date for all Christmas orders will be December 18th with limited spaces so get them in early. For all other orders, please give at least 3 days notice in order to bake every order fresh. Long time no bake friends After a very busy few months in our household, and temporarily closing my little shop while we made our big move into our very first home, I am happy to announce that we are finally settled and I am so excited to get back in the kitchen for the holidays. I greatly appreciate everyone's patience in this big transition and I am beyond grateful for the continued support you have shown me even while I was on a break.... As you may or may not know, we moved out of Oshawa at the end of August and bought a house in a small little town called Frankford, but don't worry, I will be making a road trip to Durham right before Christmas (but those details will be announced next week.) If you are new here, welcome. My name is Rhiannon but you can call me Rhi, and I have a passion for cupcakes and only cupcakes. I have a small home-based cupcake business that I started last year after losing my job at GM after 14 yrs to bring some extra joy into my life, and it has brought so much more than that. I bake everything in my kitchen with love and have always had my customers health and safety as my #1 priority, Covid or not. I will be launching my holiday menu next week on December 1st so get ready for all the holiday flavours, and thank you again for all the support

If you would of told me when I opened SugaRhi last October that my little homemade cupcakes would turn into this, I wouldn't of believed you. The support that I have received from not only people I know, but also strangers who took a chance on me, there are not enough words to thank you. As I announced back in May, we bought our very first home. While it is super exciting to be starting this new chapter, we will be relocating an hour east of Oshawa. Therefore, SugaRhi will ...too have a new home. What my hope is going forward, is that with all of our family and friends still here, we will be returning often and therefore it is my hope that when it comes to holiday weekends I will be able to take orders for the days I will be in town for delivery. Obviously there are alot of details to iron out, but at the moment that is my hope. As of today, August 1st, I will be temporarily closing up shop as there are just 3 short weeks until we move. I will be reopening in September once settled in our new home excited with ideas for the coming months. What dad doesn't want a good boozy cupcake for Father's Day? I've been a little MIA around here but I'm still kicking. Who knew buying a house, dealing with everything that comes with that, and doing an entire second semester of college online from home would be so time consuming? Although I would of loved to come out with a Father's Day menu, I just knew my energy was required to be in other aspects of my life. Sometimes its okay to admit you can't do it all.... As a reminder, I will be relocating mid August, about an hour east, and although I won't be coming out with any specific menus until after we move, I am still taking custom orders like this one until August 1st. First off I'd like to thank everyone for all of their continued support this past weekend for Mother's Day. It was a great success, and it warmed my heart so much to hear how all your moms loved their surprises. The love and support that I have received from the very beginning of starting my little cupcakery at my home here in Oshawa a very short 8 months ago, leaves me nothing short of speechless. You have welcomed me into your homes and trusted me with weddings, birthdays..., holidays, and "just because" cupcakes and I cannot thank you all enough. Today I celebrate my 33rd birthday. It has been a much needed day of relaxing, full of reflection and gratitude. With that gratitude, I feel it is important to share, with a very bittersweet heart that my boyfriend and I have bought our very first home together. Now you may wonder why I say bittersweet. Well as excited as we are, our new home is approx one hour east of Oshawa. What does this mean for SugaRhi? What I do know is that trips to the Oshawa area will still happen often as we both have alot of our friends and family here. I also know that no matter where I live, making cupcakes will always be a part of what brings joy to my life, especially in my new kitchen. SugaRhi will still very much continue, I just felt it was important to share that as of August 31st I will be relocating to a little one street light town called Frankford, Ontario. I have received quite a few messages regarding Mother's Day deliveries tomorrow. I do have quite a few deliveries tomorrow right across Durham Region. My aim is to begin at 9am and my hope is to have all cupcakes on doorsteps by noon to allow all the moms to enjoy their day with their families. Cherry Almond: a fruity maraschino cherry cupcake, frosted with a smooth and silky almond buttercream, and a cherry on top. ... Chocolate Hazelnut: a fluffy vanilla cupcake, filled with a chocolate hazelnut ganache, frosted with a Nutella buttercream, and topped with a Ferrero Roche. Turtles: a delicious chocolate cupcake, filled with a homemade caramel, frosted with a dulce de leche buttercream, topped with a turtle and a caramel drizzle. I feel good in making this decision to still serve you as I am practicing social distancing myself, and will be staying home in the coming weeks as my current post-secondary classes have been moved online. Mini's for days I have been asked multiple times if I am coming out with a menu soon? I AM working on it, but I want it to be perfect. It takes alot of time, and being a full time student, on top of current cupcakes orders, doesn't allow me much extra time right now unfortunately. I am looking to have some fun different flavours to offer, but I won't be making them available until I am 100% happy with them.... I do recipe testing and come out with holiday menus because those tend to be the most requested (hint hint Easter is coming ). But I take can orders and most definitely have a list of flavour combinations that I love, or can include any ideas you may have as well. Today's order going out includes a fun new lemon made with homemade lemon curd in the center of a vanilla cupcake topped with toasted meringue

Cutest gift from my brother-in-law and sister-in-law for Christmas this year Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas

147 cupcakes later and Christmas orders are complete. I know I say this alot, but I cannot thank everyone enough for the love, support, and orders over the last 2.5 months since starting SugaRhi. As you may or may not know, 56 days ago I finished my job at General Motors after 14 years of building cars. The last year has been full of lots of up's, and down's, emotionally and mentally. As I came close to the end of my time, and Thanksgiving weekend, I decided to just jump... in and finally do what I had been saying I'd do for years, open my own little home-based cupcake shop. The outpouring of support has truly helped me more than anyone knows, in the tough transition of working full time to not working at all. I thrive on keeping busy, and you guys have kept me busier than I imagined. Throwback Saturday! I've come a long way Had this come up in my facebook memories today from when I was first getting into baking back in 2010. From using a boxed cake mix, a container of frosting, using a knife to spread it, and covering it in Christmas sprinkles, to where I am now. Making homemade recipes, my own buttercream, piping, and owning a stand mixer. Thank you to everyone who's been with me for years and have had all kinds of my cupcakes, the good and bad, and... encouraged me to start my own business. Just 7 days until Christmas! 7 days! Any orders for this weekend must be made by end of day today. ALL Christmas Eve pickups must be in by end of day Friday. I've received alot of questions on how long Christmas Eve pickups will last. I will be baking all day on the 23rd for pickups on the 24th. All cupcake orders picked up on Christmas Eve will remain their freshest until Dec 27th and up to a week, as long as they are kept refrigerated, so don't worry if you dont need them until boxing day!

Well it's time for Halloween at SugaRhi's. Since everyone of all ages love Halloween, I decided to create options for all ages as well. Introducing my boozy creations, a line of 19+ cupcakes with an alcoholic injection, perfect for parties. My Halloween selections are:... Jack: All ages: A chocolate cupcake with a vanilla buttercream on top, giving it the look of a pumpkin. 19+: A coke flavoured chocolate cupcake, vanilla buttercream on top, with a Jack Daniel's injector.
