You know how hard it is to tape up a blown-up balloon?! This child is three and hasn't yet figured out how to do knots, so this was his solution.

Sculpture. The simplicity of this appeals to me. That said, it's on a big foamie, so balance is much harder to achieve than it seems.

Our Daily Words- doing exactly what I'd thought they'd do. Each child picks a word for me to write down. That's it. The zero-pressure intro to the fact that their words can be preserved, and shared. When they're ready, the drive in children leads them to, "I want to do that, too. And I'm going to figure out how."
