Although Yakisoba (pan-fried thin egg noodles) is more popular, we have been getting a lot of Yakiudon (pan-fried thick what noodles) orders lately. Good morning Cranbrook and people in the Kootenays! I am personally loving a little bit of snow, but I know many people do not like snow and cold weather, so I won’t get into the details of snow. We had a few families with younger children come in over the weekend, and one of the asked to make Tamago Maki (Maki roll made with sweetened egg) for her, and our chef said of course! No problem! and made the little Maki for her. (Cucumber maki was ordered by her sister to share....) Our chefs always try to accommodate everyone as much as possible although sometimes it is not possible. But we try our best to fit your needs! So please don’t be disappointed when we say no. There is a reason for it. Also, many people are starting to get confused with our name. We have been running under new ownership since May 2020, and our sign is on the way! Just so you know. Since we have been promoting lots of vegetarian dishes, here is Chroma Roll with Avocado nigiris. Chroma Roll is inspired by the owner’s fiancé who is a vegetarian and the biggest fan of Yam-avo roll.
