I am not a naturally organized person. But I want this year and my every day to day to be more productive. I have found the only thing that helps me, is time blocking my day. Before I go to bed, I write out on a piece of paper, hour by hour what I'm going to do. I don't stick to the schedule perfectly, it's more of a guideline, but I find having that paper for me to see and check off what I've done is really helpful for me!... These fun photos were taken during our "outside play" time slot this morning. What tricks and tips do you have for staying organized and productive!?

Do More of What YOU Love To Do! For me that is having more time to spend with my kids (and my chickens )! It wasn't that long ago that I was stuck in a cycle of guilt. I wanted to be at home with my kids, but our budget was always tight and I kept feeling like I should be working outside the home to help out.... I tried to find a way to work online but all the other businesses I had tried only took time away from my family, and did not add any significant income! Then my mother-in-law told me about a nurse she works with who has been running her own successful digital business since early 2019. (And by successful, I mean she now makes more than her full time nursing career!). She told me it was possible for me too and sent me the link to a complimentary workshop where I was shown the basics of running a digital business and how to use social media to leverage the internet! I asked a lot of questions and did some research, but I knew that this was the best business model that I've seen or tried. So I signed up that week and in less than a month I was up and running my own digital business. It has been such a blessing to me because: I can run my business using only my cellphone/laptop and a wifi connection. It runs 24/7 even while I'm sleeping or outside playing with my kids! It is 100% legitimate with registered offices in 23 countries around the world. I don't do any selling, the system does it for me. (No bugging my friends and family!) Happy 2021! 2020 is over. Was it a crazy year? ... Yes. Unpredictable? Definitely! Have it low points? Yes again. Was it all bad? I am very grateful to say that thankfully it wasn't. Overall, my husband and I had a good year. We planned on building a new house, but because of covid we put those plans on hold and decided to buy a house instead. The Lord opened a door and the house across from our acreage came up for sale. It is an adorable little house, but we love it and are very happy here. Jonathan was thankfully able to keep working this whole year. He has a bad shoulder and needs surgery, so working construction has become difficult, but we are thankful for that his trade was deemed essential. He has started to take his real estate course to pursue a non labour intensive career! We got chickens! We got to raise our hens from chicks and then bought a very loud and annoying rooster to join our little flock. Jonathan built his very first chicken coop. I have cleaned up a lot of chicken poop. And we're hoping to get new chicks this spring!! I decided to keep Edward home this year instead of sending him to Junior Kindergarten, and although I haven't actually been doing any homeschooling with him, I love having him around, and so does Sammy! We would love a big family and more children and I got pregnant again this fall but then I had a miscarriage in November. I am healing and am feeling much better, I was pretty torn up at the time of course and am still sad at times, but I am hopeful for the future. I know that God's ways and plans are not always what or how I would choose, but I trust Him. And of course 2020 is the year that I started my digital business. There have been hurdles and learning curves for sure, but I wouldn't change my decision to start this business, ever! I truly believe that the Lord led me to this business and I am very grateful to have a business to grow from the comfort of my home. I have learned so much already, grown personally and even drawn closer to the Lord. 2020 was not what I planned nor what I expected but I am very thankful for a wonderful year. "Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
