Swift Current Skating Club 20.11.2020

***URGENT INFORMATION *** Two important peices of information to send out to you today: 1) Skating is CANCELLED today (Nov. 9)... Due to the amount of snow, Emergency Services has requested that we all stay home and off the roads as much as possible today. We want to make sure everyone stays as safe as possible. We will try reschedule sessions at the beginning of March. Watch for upcoming info. Rising STAR parents...please watch for another email tonight after supper to confirm IF tomorrow morning's ice time is still on or not. 2) ***COVID INFO*** Due to the recent increased number of COVID exposures and confirmed cases in Swift Current, we are asking all skaters, parents and coaches that have been exposed to a confirmed or probable case of COVID 19 at school or in the workplace to NOT ATTEND skating for 14 days or until a confirmed NEGATIVE TEST RESULT is received. If your child has been asked to participate in At-Home Learning for 14 days, we ask that he/she stay at home and NOT ATTEND skating during this time period as well. SCSC is also recommending all individuals entering the iPlex for skating to wear a mask during their time within the facility. Although it has not been made mandatory by the city or the Sask Health Authority, we would like to try keep everyone as safe as possible during our ice times. Thank you for your honesty when choosing to come to the rink and when to stay home. The respect this shows for the health and well-being of our skaters, their parents and our coaches is sincerely appreciated. Please continue to monitor for COVID symptoms...stay home if you are exhibiting symptoms and contact SHA for further guidance. Stay safe, warm & healthy! SCSC
