As you may have expected, the Cape Breton Regional Municipality has come to the difficult decision to cancel all mobile parades in CBRM this holiday season. Fol...lowing the lead of provincial Public Health protocols, we as a community would be unable to work around the challenges created by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Although we will not have the traditional style parades happening in each community, we are actively working with community groups to plan alternative celebrations that allow for the Public Health guidelines for gathering limits and social distancing to be met. These may look a bit different, but we will all work together to ensure our community is able to gather safely. We will be releasing details and dates for the community events as they are confirmed in the coming days.
