With the new snow and warmer temperature its amazing out at Syncline. I solo xc skied to Castle Mountain Resort on Wednesday - untracked from The Lake to the intersection of the South Fork Lakes trail head. Then was able to follower a packed xc ski track to closer to the ski hill which them became packed by snowshoers. 3-3.5 hours travel time. Yesterday was another great day on the trails and ran into a group of ladies from Lethbridge on the Chinook trail snowshoeing. They come out often and we had a great visit - I knew 2 of them and was happy to meet the other two. Wendy
