Thought I would share with you a recent donation and a bit of the story of what it was and why I accepted it. The Pendant is new, the Shield we have had for a long time. It took more than 20 years for the two pieces to come back together.

I spent some time at the Library this afternoon sharing in a bit of a Remembrance Day Event. It was great to see so many young people in the audience. Barb and I took along a few artifacts from WWII with us and were able to share these with some of the youth after the speeches. All in all a good afternoon.

Thank you all for participating in verifying the information on the Nurses Home in Taber. The information has gone into my updated booklet on the Hospital History and is available at the museum or we will be at the Taber Library Jingle Sale if it is still allowed in this COVID year. I still have a bit of searching for some further information but I am mostly there. Check the individual photos for more information.

Thought I would share a few wedding photos from the 1950's and early 1960's with you. Notice how much of the bride was always covered. Question? Are you a fan of these style of dresses or would you rather have an ultra sexy style from "Say yes to the dress"? If you recognize anyone, feel free to share - I will ad names in a few days as I do have all these identified.

I have spent most of the week scanning and sorting a large collection of photos from the Taber Times - 1950's/1960's. We have several photos of people we can not identify in any way - Can you help us out?
