Three years ago today. XO

The hillside seating was fixed at Withrow Park and with the new landscaping it looks beautiful - and nice to sit on now. All set for the 2020 ball hockey season.

Andrew's birthday is today - his 16th. We miss seeing his face light up with his grin and listening to his laugh and we miss spending time with such a nice sweet boy. He would have become a wonderful man.

Geoff would have been over the moon today because Andrew most certainly would have been on the Provincial championship Withrow Park team that won gold today just as he was in 2011 and 2015.

Geoff had a big life that was filled with family, friends, fun, and work. If he was here today he would say his biggest source of happiness and biggest fulfillment would be because of his family. He loved being married to Jacquie and was a proud father to Scott and Andrew. He had a close relationship with his sister Shelagh and her children and was very happy when she moved from Ireland to just a few blocks away. He had friends from every aspect of his life from all over ...the world - NYC, Kingston, Toronto, Singapore, from sailing, cycling, law school, hockey (ball and ice), Stoney Lake, and so many more. Anyone who knew him would confirm that once you were a friend of Geoff’s you were one for life - he was fiercely loyal and a great friend. We are better for knowing him. We think of Geoff, Jacquie, Scott and Andrew every day and it is even more poignant on key dates like today - Geoff’s birthday. He would have been 59.

Today is Jacquie’s birthday and it’s a big one - 50. The party would have been epic - with lots of champagne to start and then great wine, delicious food, flowers (peonies), and great music (curated by Jacquie!). And most importantly, she would have been surrounded by her family and friends who loved her.
