The beautiful Call Me Silver, photographed 2 years ago. She was my mount for 7 years, giving me my confidence back. She passed last August at the respectable age of 24. She is missed by many! La belle Call Me Silver, photographiée il y a 2 ans. Elle a été ma monture pendant 7 ans, me redonnant confiance. Elle est malheureusement décédée en août dernier. Elle nous manque vraiment beaucoup!

We hear them before we see them... if we see them. Protective of their young, they simulate being injured to bring us far from their nest. On les entend bien avant de les voir... si on les voit. Très protecteur de ses poussins, il simule une blessure afin de nous éloigner de leur nid.

Fin octobre, Jardin Jeanne d’Arc à Québec. Une brume épaisse s’est levée. Une ambiance vraiment spéciale. Le Concorde à peine visible en arrière plan. Et la statue de Jeanne d’Arc qui semble vouloir combattre cette brume. Cette photo a été prise il y a quelques années, bien avant la covid, bien avant tous les drames. Je garde un très beau souvenir de cette soirée dans ce parc... October was near its end, Jeanne d’Arc Garden in Quebec City. A thick fog rose. A really special atmosphere. The Concorde barely visible in the background. And the statue of Joan of Arc who seems to want to fight this fog. This photo was taken a few years ago, long before the covid, long before all the dramas. I have very fond memories of this evening in this park ...
