We Wish Everyone A Happy ANZAC Day 2016! May we never forget those who perished at wars. May we also not forget those who rescued wounded comrades from the warfront! A vital role that helped to reduce casualties and save lives of others. People like John Simpson, who fought alongside with the Australian and New Zealand soldiers and used the skills he leant as a child with the donkeys at the warfront! ... John (Jack) Simpson Kirkpatrick (6 July 1892 19 May 1915), who served under the name John Simpson, was a stretcher bearer with the 1st Australian Division during the Gallipoli Campaign in World War I. After landing at Anzac Cove on 25 April 1915, Simpson began to use donkeys to provide first aid and carry wounded soldiers to the beach, for evacuation. Simpson and the donkeys continued this work for three and a half weeks, often under fire, until he was killed, during the Third attack on Anzac Cove. "Simpson and his Donkey" are a part of the "Anzac legend". We pray today for those who put their lives on the line to keep peace in our communities and nations and to protect us all from aggressions. May they live in the peace, love and blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ (Amen).

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Prince Rogers Nelson. We pray for their peace and healing. He gave voice to oppressed individuals by writing songs about them. A man whose height was defined by his creativities and his fight for freedom! May his soul rest in peace with the Lord. RIP Prince. 1999 = 2016!

We wish Queen Elizabeth II, a Happy 90th Birthday! Long life, happiness, peace and excellent health! May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to be your strength and guardian forevermore (Amen!)
