The evenings are getting darker but it lovely to see the lights. @sterlingjewellery has the most amazing windows and sparkle on our block. We are so happy that @downtownkingston has the lights on making the street look beautiful. We are sad to see @vandervoortsgeneralstore empty and the lights not shining into the world. @profilekingston has done a great article on Bill and his store. We are very sad to see him go. Did you know that Rudi goes to Toronto once a month to get new inventory for the store? It is a long day for Rudi he leaves Kingston at 4:00am and leaves Toronto at 3:00pm IF all runs according to plan. In Toronto he does approximately 12 different stops picking up flour, dried fruit, juice @blackriverjuice, spices, and many other products. By having Rudi go we save shipping all of these products to Kingston on separate trucks. When Rudi arrives back in Kingston around 7:00 t...here is a team of dedicated hard workers who help him unload and put it all away. We will be working hard today to get the shelves restocked.

It’s the time of year getting out all the fall roots! First 2 pics are from red fingerling potato harvest yesterday and the next 2 are sweet potato harvest from earlier in the week. We can safely say this has been our best fingering and sweet potatoes haul yet!!
