"I would have to change the way I thought about waiting. Which is what the Advent season invites all of us to do for the four weeks before Christmas: to practice embracing the act of waiting for Christ as an ongoing opportunity for life-giving transformation." https://faithandleadership.com/enuma-okoro-wait-might-be-th

Exciting transitions in MCEC: Leah was a classmate of mine at Rockway Mennonite Collegiate a few years back. I am looking forward to the new energy she will bring to MCEC, along with a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Mental health support groups provide you with a place to learn helpful coping skills and openly share your struggles and triumphs, all the while realizing you are not alone. We have a few scheduled for the coming weeks. Please join us if you can. #YouAreNotAlone

1 adult-size toothbrush 1 large bar bath soap 1 nail clipper 1 hand towel 1 wide-toothed comb... These 5* simple items can make a difference for someone living in a refugee camp. The MCC Material Resources Centres across the U.S. and Canada are running very low on these supplies. 45,000 hygiene kits are still needed this year by our partners around the world. We need your help to fulfill this need. More information can be found at mcccanada.ca/kits or mcc.org/kits. *MCC adds toothpaste before distribution due to customs regulations with expiration dates. #mccpeace

Beginning this upcoming Sunday, July 5th, we are cautiously resuming in-house church services. Following Public Health guidelines, our attendance numbers will be capped to 20-30 people. Other guidelines will be in place, like distancing between individuals/bubble groups, mask-wearing, no singing, hand sanitizing, and symptom-checking. Anyone wishing to attend MUST RSVP ahead of time. You can do that here at this link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx
