Set the bevels with the @officialwickededge sharpener then progressed through the grits on #naniwaprofessionalstones and finished on a 1 and .25 micron strops. Testing a new sharpening protocol with the @spyderco_inc #para3lightweight . In place of strops Im using silicon carbide film. Its polishing a lot better and with fewer stokes. I dont need as many grits as I did with the polishing pastes. Im still ending with a 1 micron diamond spray on leather. ultimately this is yielding a finer, stickier edge (at least on #ctsbd1n) then the previous protocol I was using. Its been my goal this year to practice my freehand sharpening skills.
