We are a day late, but a very Happy New Year to everyone! We want to start off by wishing everyone a happy holidays and thanking you for your support! What a year it's been. So much change, loss, but also growth and new beginnings! Unfortunately this year our collective lost out on a lot. We lost out on local performances, workshops we had been planning for months, our rental space that felt like a second home, and some of our collective members. But with loss always comes... some new changes and gains. We were able to perform for Thunder bay's virtual Canada Day with the help of Thunder Bay Culture & Events. We were able to study virtually with some of our past teachers. Many dancers and members were able to explore new classes and teachers from around the globe virtually. Heather of Morgan's School of Highland Dancing graciously welcomed us into her space so we could hold our practices in a safe way (thank you from the bottom of our heart). We still have a dedicated group of extremely talented dancers who have stuck with the collective through all the changes. And lastly, we also have an extremely dedicated group of board members (the people who organize and help keep our collective running) who haven't become discouraged even during the hardest of times. Our collective is truly made up of the most wonderful people, past and present. 2021 is looking bright. We are excited and positive about the new year and look forward to our next few months of practices. Either virtually or in person (hopefully in person soon)! We've got some virtual workshops coming up, we are reviewing our choreographies, and also adding in some fun dance challenges! We hope to share our dances for you soon! Thank you to each and every person who has continued to support our group! It has been so appreciated. We will do our best to keep the update posts coming and continue to share our 2021 moments. Stay safe everyone! The best is yet to come. *ps, If you have sent us a message or email, we will be getting back to you asap. Thank you for your patience over the holidays*

Happy Halloween Sadly, no Hunger performances with Definitely Superior Art Gallery this year due to the current circumstances. But we look forward to next year's Hunger. Enjoy our photos from last year! Bhangra and flamenco pictures taken by Kay Lee Photography and Spanish skirt dance picture taken by dancer Manon. Stay tuned for more posts to come.
