On Thursday, August 20, 2020 this Tim Hortons tour van dropped off coffee and doughnuts for our Transit Operators. They have travelled from Calgary to Thunder Bay stopping in different cities along the way with their donations. Thank you Tim Hortons, not only for supporting our Transit Operators, but for your continuous support of Front Line Workers throughout this pandemic. Much appreciated. Safe travels back to Calgary.

Starting Friday, July 24, masks or face coverings will be mandatory at all enclosed public spaces including transit, as mandated by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. You'll notice these signs on transit and in many facilities across town as reminders. Please note that there are exemptions listed, so you may see some people not wearing masks on transit. While our operators may provide a reminder of the mask policy, riders will not be asked or required to provide proof of ...their reason for exemption. Operators are not required to wear a mask as they will be behind plastic shields installed around the operating compartment. We recognize this will be an adjustment for some and ask that everyone respects the rights and privacy of those who are unable to wear a mask. For a list of exemptions and other Frequently Asked Questions related to masks and face coverings on transit, please visit the drop-down menu at www.thunderbay.ca/transit General information on masks is also available on the Health Unit's website: https://www.tbdhu.com/mandatorymasks
