Love this from Kelly! We as humans are the only animal who eats when we are not hungry thus we are the ones with all the health issues. Are you eating for pleasure, boredom, sadness, taste? Maybe just stick to when you are hungry. Find your food that you like but not too much and ask your self if you are hungry to eat just that and if you are not then it is probably not hunger!

Confessions of a sugar addict Maybe someone will see some of themselves in my story What I have noticed over the last month and especially over the last week of Christmas... I have gone off keto/carnivore here and there. Carb addiction is real! Mostly what I have had is bread/buns/pasta a few doughnuts here and there. Then the last week have had christmas treats - chocolates, cookies, chips/pretzels, candy and pop tarts lol Over the month I gained and lost about two pounds each week because I would eat carnivore for a few days then eat bread or buns or something Over the last week I have gained 6-7 lbs Immediately what I have noticed is the change in energy the exhaustion is back. I have to force myself to do things, no energy, wake up tired and don’t want to get up. Sleeping longer and not feeling rested (suspect I am snoring a lot more) My feet are killing me again, plantar fasciitis is back Knee is giving me trouble again, gets stiff No energy or drive to work out Noticing my eyes are not working as good, adjusting from reading to looking far away is not happening well at all, far away is quite blurry for the longest time after doing close things like reading I just don’t feel good overall, nothing to pinpoint just kind of yuck My mood has dropped a lot, feeling down when normally I am pretty optimistic! When keto/carnivore I am so happy almost all the time My resting heart rate has increased from somewhere between 65-67 to 73/74, I have noticed that after eating sugar and just sitting and watching tv my heart rate will be 80-90 beats per minute When I sweat now, I stink! I am feeling quite hot especially in the evenings, not quite hot flashes but just too warm overall so feeling the need to pare down the clothing and we keep our house fairly cool Sweating while sleeping Digestion not feeling very good, bubbling in the guts sometimes, sometimes stomach kind of hurts Noticed farting has come back, no farting on keto/carnivore I have noticed my hair is not growing as fast, when carnivore my hair was growing like crazy My nails are tearing and breaking and not growing as fast And lastly guess we need to talk bowel movements lol TMI coming -on carnivore, way less waste, no smell, easy to go, no need to even wipe, usually once per morning and done, slight pressure or kind of feel full that alerts me to need to go Now - i have to go several times per day, quite often feel like I have to go more often but nothing happens, urgency has come back, pressure is back, uncomfortableness, sometimes cramping and pain, sometimes bowels too loose, sometimes too hard, and it smells again I am so looking forward to tomorrow to switch back to carnivore. It is going to be really hard as the sugar here will call my name constantly. One minute at a time, one hour at a time, one day at a time. Let’s do this! I want to feel good not only taste good things! Steak tastes delicious as well!
