This month Terra Modelling Services is 6 years old! I decided to embark on my own consulting company in the first week of June 2014. Little did I expect that I would be joined by some excellent colleagues, and that our work would span 5 continents and across a range of commodities. In the past 6 years we have worked on resource projects in Peru and Morocco, Canada and Spain. Greenfields exploration and site visits ranging from Nevada to Ethiopia. And an ever-expanding commodi...ty list potash, phosphate, emeralds, uranium, gold, lithium, diamonds and many more. We have expanded into commodity and exchange rate price forecasting, and satellite remote sensing. Two of our clients with whom we have been since the start of their projects are on the verge of mine construction. And while times are challenging for everyone right now, we have been blessed with enough work and ever-expanding possibilities. Satellite Remote Sensing Services Here at Terra Modelling Services we have developed remote sensing services utilizing satellite technology that are affordable,... of high quality and with short turn-around. We can process and interpret multispectral, hyperspectral and synthetic aperture radar data. Services that can be provided include the following: - Structural Analysis - Mineralization analysis, including identifying specific clay minerals - Exploration target acquisition - Vegetation monitoring (biomass, heavy mineral contamination, crop damage and other analyses) - High-quality digital elevation models & subsidence studies An example is the attached image where we did a structural analysis, plus identify lithium-bearing clays that were subsequently ground-truthed with the results from soil sample assays. The structural analysis was subsequently confirmed with magnetotellurics.
