Jim Terrion, you are our hero! 30 years ago, Jim Terrion was locally recognized for his brace and courageous walk across Canada! 30 years later and Jim has now raised over $800,000 for The Terry Fox Foundation!

As a family member and member of the Terry Fox identities I am simply thankful and proud that Terry's uniting vision and dream has been acknowledged in this way.

Jim Terrion, 30 years ago today finished his walk across the country to raise money and awareness for the deaf and hearing impaired. In 1991 and every year sin...ce, Jim has been fundraising in Terry's name and has raised over $800,000(!!) thanks to the generosity of Prince Rupert and Prince George residents. Sincere thanks to Scott McWalter for presenting Jim with a pair of Terry Fox orion shoes at Terry's Prince George statue today. I am going out on a limb but think Jim is a worthy recipient!!!!
