Thai Khmer cuisine dessert

Last night my husband and I got to enjoy a rare date night out. We were torn on where to go for dinner as we are pretty limited on what we can eat out(we are bo...th keto). We decided to try Thai Khmer Cuisine for the first time as they are running a promotion that has all main entrees priced at $10. We ordered Sach Ko-Chang Kak (beef skewers) and Satay Kai (chicken skewers) to start. The beef was marinated with lemon grass and came with the most incredible papaya slaw. I wish I could have eaten more of it! The beef was tender and full of flavour. The chicken came with a delicious peanut sauce and was also cooked perfectly with so much flavour. For his main my husband had Pa Naeng. It’s a red curry with sweet basil and it was seriously one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tried. The serving was generous and filled him up even though he skipped the rice. I had Pad Khing with beef for my main. It was a huge serving of perfectly cooked ginger beef with broccoli and cauliflower and onions and mushrooms and peppers and it was incredible. I also skipped rice and didn’t miss it. The service was incredible too! He was attentive and friendly and everything arrived in great time. I can’t believe that we have never tried this amazing place before. It is seriously some of the best food I have ever eaten. They also do takeout too but the current special is for dine in only. It’s a small restaurant so it wouldn’t work for large groups but for an intimate meal that will leave you full and satisfied beyond belief I highly recommend you come here. See more
