Happy first day of school!
A beautiful day for Paint the Town. The Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market is going on right now!
A beautiful sunny day here. Guests had a BBQ last night with the kids playing on the climbing structure. The only thing missing was s'mores in the fireplace.
Natal Days coming up. The schedule looks full.
YEA ~ It's official! On behalf of Explorer Guide and The Historical Association of Annapolis Royal, THANK YOU to everyone who voted and shared to save the Annap...olis Royal Lighthouse! Although the Town of Annapolis Royal is the smallest incorporated one in Nova Scotia, we received 27,048 votes -- the most out of all 26 lighthouses in the This Lighthouse Matters Contest, organized by the National Trust for Canada. We won by only 82 votes which proves that, indeed, every vote counts. We praise the efforts of all of the lighthouses who entered and the dedicated volunteers who work hard to maintain them. Thanks to your outstanding efforts and incredible support, we will receive $40,000 for preservation repairs so our cherished historic landmark will continue to be a shining light on the past and a beacon of hope for the future. Give yourselves a huge round of applause. You deserve it! Alan and Durline See more

We are having beautiful weather in Annapolis Royal today. There was a great market yesterday. Some graveyard tours this week as well as some cultural tours as well. Allan is a great story teller. Come visit us.
Canada Day is coming fast. The Town has activities if anyone fancies a get away. The outdoor fireplace will be burning and we have a BBQ to lend. Come cook some s'mores!
Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market's market this morning. And what a beautiful day for it. Marie and Guy's bakery is going to be there, so I'm heading out for raisin bread. Have a great day all, hopefully I will see some of you at the market.
