The Knife Sharpener 25.11.2020

More returning friends coming back for a yearly sharpening session at The Knife Sharpener's shop. These knives will be ready to handle the upcoming holiday season food prep duties. BTW, have you checked your knives, scissors and food processing blades for sharpness yet? Remember, Santa and the elves are far too busy to sharpen them up for you, but I can! You know what to do. Returning friends that are coming back for a subsequent sharpening after a tour of domestic slicing and dicing duties. I am humbled, grateful and appreciate the support from my returning clients! Cleaned, sharpened, lubricated and tested. These are now ready for fall and winter pruning sessions. All these items will cleanly cut through a single sheet of newspaper. Sharp, dem is!

All the marks on the various blades indicate to me where thinning, reprofiling, straightening and tip work is required before sharpening and honing occurs. That's what The Knife Sharpener does for his clients. Now it's back to the surgical ward to fix these blades up.

The Shun knife trilogy. A paring knife, a Santuko and a chef knife. All have been sharpened, honed and tested. They are now ready to go home for active slicing and dicing duties. Note to self, keep fingers away from the edges!
