Hello all, hope everyone is keeping well. Thank you to our seasonal campers who have been safely enjoying our beautiful park, following the social distancing rules and gathering limits. We have been blessed with a beautiful spring and I'm so happy we have been able to enjoy it at the Look Off. We are also grateful for our community support, for all those who have visited us for ice-cream and takeout. Judy, Paige and Hailey have been enjoying serving you. The NS Gov has ...announced that campgrounds are open to all types of camping as of June 5 at 50% capacity as long as we can follow the detailed guidelines. For the Look Off this means... We will only be opening to campers who are able to self contain, i.e., who have washroom facilities in their campers. Our washroom facilities will remain closed for this next phase of our opening. Our pool, playground and mini golf remain closed. We encourage folks who would like to make a reservation to leave a message at 902-582-3022 or to email me at [email protected]. We are all still required to follow all guidelines in place regarding social distancing and group gatherings. Each reservation will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire for their group before being admitted to the campground. Well.... this has been quite a start to 2020. I'm happy to let you know that Paige and Judy are back at the Look Off scooping up ice cream (bowls only for now) and serving up delicious grub! We have order and pick up windows set up at the front of our canteen. We'll be open for take out Thursday to Sunday 11-7, weather permitting. i.e. if its FREEZING (like last Sunday) or raining the girls may not be there all day as it's lonely there on those kinds of days!! If you'd like to call in an order, give us a shout at 902-582-3022. We don't know as of yet what our camping season will look like, we'll drop a line when we get an update. In the short term come enjoy some great take out and/or ice cream for a treat! Stay healthy everyone, Be Safe.

What an amazing day! A fantastic turnout for the show-n-shine, thanks to all the folks who showed off their beautiful rides. Thanks also to those who came to enjoy the show. Appreciate all the help we had to make it possible again this year. A total of $1039 was raised through your generous donation, 50/50 and our BBQ proceeds. Our winners today from the ‘People’s Choice’ ballots are: 1st place- Bruce Kelly 1968 Camaro; 2nd place - Dave & Fran Smith 1974 Corvette Stingray; 3rd place - Barry Barnet 1965 Chev Impala. Thanks again everyone! See you next year!

What an amazing last official summer weekend! Looking forward to a beautiful day tomorrow for our annual Show-n-Shine, 9-3. We’re still serving ice cream and great grub at the canteen as well. Enjoy this beautiful weekend.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our show-n-shine today. Lots of sweet rides joined us for a gorgeous afternoon at the Look Off. Your generosity raised $747 for charity! Hoping to see you at our 2019 show!

Looking forward to our annual Halloween fun this Sat. Aug 25th. It sounds like it’s going to be a great day for some trick-or-treating!! Can’t wait to see the costumes!

Holy Moly! The Canada Day long weekend countdown is on!! This weekend we are planning some fun for the kids (young and young at heart!) We'll decorate some Canada Day cookies on Sat morning at the canteen and have a game of capture the flag in the field on Sat afternoon! Then Sat at supper time we're changing things up and going all "East Coast Canadian" with a donair supper special! Yummy! Then dig out your dancing shoes! All ages from 8-10 at the rec hall, pause at 10 for our fireworks and then back to the dance for the adults!! The fun continues on Sunday! Water balloon towel toss, chocolate bar bingo, 'Adult' Bingo and a movie to wrap up the evening on Sunday. Times for all the activities will be available in the canteen at check-in. Looking forward to our first summer long weekend!!! Happy Camping everyone!

August long weekend already.... We are so excited to be welcoming back the Saunders Bros Show, Sat. night 7-9 in the rechall! Here's how the weekend is shaping up: Sat morning; craft in the canteen, Sat afternoon; silliness in the field! Sat at 7 in the rec hall, Saunders Brothers Show, (comedy & music) followed by fireworks (weather permitting) and then our dance! Sunday we'll have our annual 'Carnival' out front by the rec hall, Bingo and some fun for the big kids! Look forward to welcoming all our campers! See you on the weekend!

Christmas in July this weekend folks! Looking forward to seeing some festive lights, the kids will decorate Christmas cookies, we'll have some 'snowball' fun in the field & watch a Christmas movie. Sat night there will be live entertainment in the rec hall. Best of luck to all the ladies playing at the Gunn Baldursson tournament! Shaping up to be a great weekend in the valley!

Canada Day here already! Our tradition continues with a fun line up of activities. Our pig roast will be Sat. rain or shine. Gordon will be back hosting archery workshops We'll have our fireworks (weather permitting) and dancing! Bingo, craft, activities! Fun for kids of all ages!!
