Today we have new members on the Board of Theatre Saskatchewan Inc. Congratulations to our new President, John Dyck! We are also excited to welcome Nathan Breitenbach and Danyll Challis to the Board of Directors, and congratulations to Debbie Burgher, who is returning for another term. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Donna Challis and Maureen Pepper, whose time on the Board has come to an end, but we know we will see you at the theatre! Thank you to Donna and Maureen for everything they have done for community theatre in Saskatchewan while on the Board of Directors.

We asked the board candidates some interview questions to help you make your choice in the upcoming election at the AGM. Today we're highlighting Angel Genereux who is running for Member at Large. 1. TSI's mission of contributing to growth and development of theatre in Saskatchewan is meaningful to me because it aligns with my own beliefs that community includes all people, & provides opportunities to pursue theatre for individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity... to do so. 2. My previous Board experience includes serving 4 years on the board at Regina Little Theatre, including 2 years as Vice President. One of my portfolios during my 4 year term was producing the One Acts Cabaret where I took a new approach to advertising & marketing, which resulted in more "bums in seats" and increased bar and food sales. 3. My strongest skill is in developing rapport & building relationships with both individuals & organizations. I am an "ideas person", & am adept at thinking outside the box in order to find solutions, break down barriers, & creating opportunities. 4. Should I be elected, I hope to accomplish building community outreach that would contribute to making community theatre in Saskatchewan more diverse & inclusive so that it more accurately reflects the population of the province.
