Out of all the Christmas Holiday pictures I took this one I had to share. After the kids were all tucked into bed, I found this (homemade Christmas cards)beside the plate of cookies and milk they put out for Santa. We’ve talked a lot this year about how greatful we should be for the simple things, food and family and each other. Even though in their eyes they are over the moon excited for Christmas morning to see what Santa brought, this shows me that they have given a little... thought to what I’ve been telling them. They are blessed to have a roof over their heads, food on their table and a warm bed to sleep in. I hope they continue to remind themselves throughout the year how blessed they are. I put these cards aside for next year, with every intention on delivering them to those who may not have family to visit them. As we approach the New Year my hope is to encourage them to give back a little more this year.
