Acid erosion from acidic food/ drinks can dissolve tooth enamel and lead to cavities, as well as more yellow coloured teeth (as the enamel wears away, the underlying tooth structure is dentin- which is a yellow colour) This also can cause extreme sensitivity! The erosion is caused by exposure of the teeth to acid. Fruit drinks, juices, and foods containing high acid levels can contribute... to an acidic oral environment.
