It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closing of The Capitol effective immediately. A struggling economy compounded with our growing concerns over public safety due to the Covid-19 virus has depleted our ability to operate a profitable business. We would like to thank everyone who made The Capitol an amazing place and, we hope, something different, unique, and fun to the city these last incredible five years.... HOWEVER, its not all doom and gloom. We have some good news: 1. The Capitol WILL be open for the remainder of the week online on SkipTheDishes. This is your last chance to experience our menu. 2. Outstanding gift cards, while we cannot accept them online, are valid and honoured at The Lancaster Taphouse. Once again, thank you for your support over the years, Joel and myself are incredibly proud of this little restaurant and everything it was. Please no we are not going away, and we have some new plans we are excited to share with you hopefully over the coming days.
