Morning Everyone! Please note that there is a Total Fire Ban in Quinte West at this time. This means that absolutely NO fires are permitted in the park until further notice.

GREAT NEWS!!!! As per Premier Ford's announcement today, the Park will be open to ALL its campers as of 9am on Saturday, May 16, 2020!!! ***For our snowbirds - you will be permitted to enter on Friday, May 15, 2020 ***... All seasonal campers will be permitted into the park as of 9am on May 16, 2020. HOWEVER, ALL Campers must abide by the following rules: 1. All public areas on the campground are CLOSED. This includes all beaches, fire pits, recreational fields, public bathrooms, and all other communal areas. a. Boat launches will be available for the sole purpose of launching and removing of watercraft. Physical/Social distancing must be in effect. 2. There shall be no public gatherings on campground premises including but not limited to gatherings for barbeques, campfires, and bonfires. 3. All residents of the campground must abide by the social/physical distancing protocols of maintaining a 6-foot (2 meters) distance at all times from other people. 4. All residents of the campground must abide by all other rules and recommendations of Public Health Ontario and Public Health Canada including but not limited to the requirement of social/physical distancing. 5. NO VISITORS WILL BE PERMITTED

So great news!!! The park will officially be opening as of May 15th!!! Campgrounds are officially included in the essential businesses list - Section 13.1! We will be following all social distancing rules. All common areas will be closed off (Rec fields, rec tent, bonfire pit and beach) there will be no visitors permitted and all campers will be expected to comply with social distancing rules. https://www.ontario.ca/page/list-essential-workplaces

Hello Everyone, I know everyone is concerned about the new updated "essential businesses" list and how this will impact the park. We are in communications with both our lawyers and the Ministry directly as there are some exceptions to this new directive. As of right now, we are still scheduled to open on May 15th. This is 6 weeks away and many things can change in this time. We will be sure to keep everyone updated as things progress....
