Starting on September 23, 2020, Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) screeners will begin temperature screening all passengers before they depart from Kelowna International Airport - YLW. This is in addition to the health screening questions and the wearing of face coverings already required for all travellers. Temperature screening is an added layer of precaution to protect employees, passengers and the greater community, and to help prevent air travel from bei...ng a source for the spread of COVID-19, said Airport Director, Sam Samaddar. Many of the airlines operating at YLW and at airports across the country already conduct temperature checks of their passengers. By integrating this process into pre-board security screening, passengers will be more accustomed to the new screening process and know what to expect when they are ready to travel. BRB, we’re making memories. Just over here pretending it’s not actually September and living our best summer life @covelakesideresort in West Kelowna. One of our favourite places to visit year round, but nothing beats the summer fun here! This beautiful lakeside retreat has the most amazing pools & a super fun waterslide (I’m pretty sure Parker went on it at least 187 times in the last 24hrs!). It’s located steps away from Okanagan Lake with beach front access, and ton...s of super fun activities close by... and did I mention the wineries?! There is something here for everyone! This year has really showed us many new things! My five favourite things about travelling are:... 1. Exploring new places 2. Eating 3. Relaxing 4. Escaping reality for a bit 5. Adventuring Last week we got to do a little bit of all of these at the The Cove Lakeside Resort. It was truly so beautiful! We got to spend a few days without the kids there and enjoy the resort feels but so look forward to bringing the kids back as it’s super family friendly! The pool was so well maintained with covid precautions and there’s so much to do from the private beach, to fun water activities like paddle boarding at Lakesurf Okanagan and so on...
