As a new year is upon us and we continue our days in a pandemic, our trust remains in Jesus and the plan He has for The Crossing. We recently sent out a newsletter highlighting some amazing things that happened over 2020. Though this year was different in so many ways, God was with us every day! We are so proud of our church and the amazing things we did together in 2020 despite the pandemic. Prayer walks, Trivia nights, Zoom parties, local and overseas missions support, fundraisers, amazing worship and biblical teachings, kids church, advent, and the list goes on! Church, we love you! 2021, BRING IT ON!

EPIC ADVENT ADVENTURES Every bag looks a little different depending on the age of the recipient but the goal remains the same. This Christmas season we hope that families keep Christ in Christmas and that kids learn about the love of Jesus while having fun with their families. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jade Kenyamanyara. Jade was a young wife and mom who served Jesus and the VOH ministry with her whole heart. The Crossing will continue to support The Kenyamanyara family at this time and ask that if anyone would like to give additionally to the family they do so through the link below. Christmas is coming and we want to provide you with an opportunity to practice generosity this holiday season! Operation Christmas Child is a hands on way for Canadians to bless struggling children in the developing world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and other items. The boxes are collected and distributed in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in desperate situations. Communion is something that was set up to bring us back to the place of the Cross. To the death and resurrection of Jesus, and in that, we often take a look at the internal impact. We say, "thank you Lord for what you have done for me". This Saturday we will be partaking in COVID friendly individually packed communion together.
