Anybody else out there cooking with caul fat? Joe Eppele has a pretty good recipe for a river side dinner over an open fire. - bear heart and prairie oysters... -venison roast - freshly foraged yellow foot chanterelles - potatoes - loads of Hi Mountain Seasonings trail dust - topped off with venison caul fat Layer it all in a cast iron dutch oven and cook "cowboy style" over a fire for roughly 3-4 whiskeys and a few exaggerated hunting stories.
