TotaL You Yoga is hosting an amazing family friendly virtual yoga fundraiser for Finding Them Homes - Barrie and Area helping Northern Ontario Dogs! Join in through Zoom on Saturday, January 30 at 10am and start your weekend off with an hour of easy yoga poses for the whole familyincluding all your dogs too! A great way to stay active, stay home, and have a ton of fun with the family. Cost to join is $20 with all proceeds being donated to the rescue! Awesome prize alert!! ... Participants receive a ballot to win 8 FREE weeks of yoga sessions starting in March! That’s not all! As a special bonus there will be adorable Finding Them Homes puppies on the Zoom call too. We are working with our friends at Finding Them Homes - Barrie and Area helping Northern Ontario Dogs to come up with new fundraising ideas for the rescue. We want to start monthly events in partnership with local crafters and artists to help showcase and sell their products here, raise money for the rescue and bring awareness to our own small business all at the same time! :) If you create and sell products we would love to hear from you (does not need to be dog related ite...ms). We ask that you be willing to donate a minimum of 10% of the sales to FTH. We will advertise your business and products for free on our page as well as the Finding Them Homes pages. We are teaming up again with Finding Them Homes - Barrie and Area helping Northern Ontario Dogs and CWC Photography to host a Winter Wonderland Photo Fundraiser on Saturday, December 12! Please click on the event link for all the details on how to register! :)

Our friends at Canine Foundations are looking for participants to assist their students who are taking the Canine Foundations Training Academy in partnership with Georgian College. This is a 100% FREE opportunity to you and you will be helping the students get the experiences and exercises they need to complete their courses. The students will be providing basic to advanced obedience training over a 9-week virtual training session. What will you need to do?... You will need internet access that can support either a Zoom or WebEx connection. Please do not volunteer if you do not have access to either of these applications. You will be asked to commit to the training course which is 9 weeks duration and follow the course outline and exercises as set out with your student trainer. Some students may need longer than 9 weeks so please keep that in mind when signing up. You will be asked to sign a waiver stating you understand you are working with a student, and also complete a performance review of the student on completion of your training program. We will forward your name and contact information on and the student will be in touch with you. Courses to start in January. Please message us on this post and/or email us directly at [email protected] to join in. We will forward on the first 8-10 volunteers to Canine Foundations. There will be ongoing sessions through 2021 as well so we may need more people in the future. Those who sign up now may be asked to start later this month or further into the year.
