It is with deep reluctance, frustration & sadness, that we report that we will be remaining closed for business in Edmonton and Calgary, until Deena Hinshaw and Jason Kenney tell us an official opening date. As of writing this post, Jason Kenney has stated we will be closed until at least January 21st’’. At this time, we do not know to what capacity, if any, salons will be able to open on that date. Therefor, we will not be rescheduling clients currently booked on our sched...ule until we have an official, concrete opening date. I know how frustrating this is- believe me- this is our livelihood, and our life’s passion. I recently made a post discussing my frustrations on @ledarlin . I went as far as to threaten to open should we not hear an update if January 12 was a go, or not. After much debate, we feel it is in our companies overall best interest to stay closed to the masses until the government deems us safe to do so. We made this decision not for the governments sake- but to keep our many immune deficient clients at the forefront of our thoughts, above our own. In closing, here are the next steps: If you have an appointment currently booked on the schedule, at this time consider your appointment pending rescheduling. We will be leaving your appointments on the schedule so that we can prioritize rescheduling procedures, and please keep in mind that our future opening date may include decreased capacity, which many mean less staff, or a combination of day and evening shifts for our colleagues. We just don’t know at this moment. As soon as we have the date and the perimeters of opening, we will prioritize making an action plan, and will contact all clients currently on the schedule, by order of appointment currently booked. Next, for anyone who is NOT currently on the schedule: Please send us an email outlining the appointment you would like to book in for when we are able to open. Once we are finished booking clients already on the schedule, we will begin calling everyone not currently booked in. Acco...rding to the complaint, they contain DMDM hydantoin, which is a formaldehyde donor known to slowly leach formaldehyde when coming into contact with water. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing, continuous support of our company. This time around, we are gratefully well equipped, and had been planning for the possibilities of an additional shut down, knowing and believing this may be necessary to protect our most vulnerable. We want you to know that we care about your health, and we support the decision to close for 4 weeks in Edmonton and Calgary (no news on Kelowna, for now). We of course hope that 4 weeks will be sufficient ...and that we can resume services on January 12th (Tuesday). Until then, our seriously killer, amazing, talented, rockstar staff are going to be working 12 hour shifts until Saturday evening to put priority on getting everyone in for TOUCH UPS, so that you do not have interruption to your services. At this time, we are prioritizing touch ups because we have hundreds of Queens who see us monthly, and only 4 days to provide services. We encourage you to do the following: Please ensure to book any colour services, future installs and touch ups for the month of January. We will be moving all big appointments to January, so if you delay we may not have available appointments if this is not planned ahead of time.
