Trainer Tuesday Spotlight Leanna What classes do you teach at The Fitual? Fitual and MEGAFitual. What got you into fitness? ... I grew up a competitive dancer. I was always very active since a young age. As I got older and the dance life slowed down I turned to fitness to keep myself moving. Favourite fitual move. Why? Dance it out Step Touch! To me it feels good to dance it out and move. Favourite way to unwind? You can always find me in the bath tub at home. What kind of music do you like? I pretty much like it all. Anything with a good beat gets me going but I also love a good slow jam. Check out Leanna’s Spotify @leannanasberg What do you like to eat? Plant based and gluten free. I don’t believe in counting calories or any of that. I eat until I am full. I follow this way of eating because it makes me feel best and works for me. I cook A LOT. Any other activities outside of The Fitual? I am a pediatric X-ray technologist in the day. If i am not at the fitual studio I can be found swinging from a pole. My other passion is Pole fitness. Did you know that The Fitual Anywhere online studio offers a class Inspired by our MEGAFitual (Lagree Fitness Method) workout?! This high-intensity low impact muscular endurance workout will give you a total body sculpt. Moving at our signature slow and controlled pace, we use sliders to create an unstable surface. This mimics the carriage of the Megaformer, and forces you to engage and stabilize your core as you move. The addition of hand weights, ankle weights, and resistan...ce bands re-create the varying levels of tension available on the Megaformer (achieved by adding and removing springs). There are a variety of our pre recorded MEGA classes to choose from and beginning next week, LIVE MEGA classes from all your favorite instructors will be offered on The Fitual Anywhere!
