Hi everyone! Let me introduce you to @kelseyarbor . . She is our newest family member at the hostel who is participating in our live-in volunteer position for a few months! .... . We met her sailing to Porphry Island this summer She was doing some wild island study out there through one of our favorite environmental groups who often stay with us @oceanwiseyouth . . You wanna talk with a fellow globe trotter addict?! She’s it! She is also super adventurous taking the boss lady with her exploring. Now boss spends most of her time beside her, on her back, getting belly rubs ... be sure to say hi when you see her (them) out around town :) . . Wanna know how we got through the summer of 2020.... this is a huge part of it. We adapted our hours and systems and ran extremely lean with our tiny fam and volunteers. We decided we need to relax and go with the flow of the universe. Because of deep breaths and good vibes this is the happiest little team you ever did see. There is a lot to say about ensuring you are laughing, getting outside, exploring, conversing, making more time for tea and crib, sharing travel stories and all the food. Sometimes that is all you need and good things happen and come your way, such as our lovely new addition! Thanks Kelsey!
