Earrings, earrings + more earrings! Tonight I’m making a small batch of Carter’s Beach for The Trainyard Store’s order. I’m also making small batches of each design so that I can slowly restock. A few tough decisionswill be made about which designs to discontinue moving forward. I approach this by using my intuition-which ones still fill me with joy to make? I’m also packing up a few designs to be staged for an upcoming Giveaway I’m super excited about! But first, I work at my RN job for the day Over at Poplar Paper Co. I’m learning about what I need to ensure that the freedom to produce on a timeline that suits me is in my hands... I love that the answers reveal themselves. Happy Tuesday xx

Today’s the day Poplar Paper Co. is is ready for action!!! So much to do now that my business name was approved. Poplar Paper is actually in its pre-launch stage, just a baby. Born yesterday. I think the journey is so interesting, don’t you? A behind the scenes look at the lead up to the launch is what I’ll be sharing up until we launch our first selection of greeting cards and prints. Launching my new business is not so much a leap of faith that things will work out as it is simply a decision to continue to follow my heart and go where my excitement leads... It’s trusting that my intuition knows what to do next because I’m on a journey of learning. Instead of worrying about failing, I’m focused on following the call. Listening, breathing, doing, being. Saturday I’m doing an online course for creatives today to sharpen my skills and open my mind. I’m always excited to learn new things! Good Thursday morning! Yesterday I tried to create a new design that I dreamed up (literally) the previous night, and it was a spectacular fail. I went to bed semi-frustrated, but then as I was waiting to fall asleep my mind came up with a few more ideas 1) how to reconfigure the failed-design, and 2) another two new design ideas! Yay! I’m trying to soak up as much sun as possible this week because I’m on vacation, but that means working in the evenings, which is a little more challenging for me because I am verrrrrrrry much a morning person. However, I’m loving these days full of work and play, and I’m going to bed feeling like my cup is full. Hope you’re enjoying this spectacular weather week too! xo Parlee Sunset design
