World Renew and The Micah Centre had a wonderful session with Heather McPherson MP and James Kornelsen from Canadian Foodgrains Bank, learning about the role of citizens and government in advocating for more just international development policy. Thank you to James and Heather for the great conversation, and to all who participated! Join us again in two weeks for the next instalment of our Justice and Global Relationships learning experience.

World Renew and The Micah Centre had a great time hosting Kurt Verbeek from ASJ Honduras last Friday, as part of our Justice and Global Relationships learning experience! Kurt's reflections on justice, development, and the importance of being brave Christians challenged and inspired us. We're looking forward to hosting James Kornelson from Canadian Foodgrains Bank and Heather McPherson MP next week, January 29, to discuss the role of citizens in making change! Go to WorldRenew's website to find out more.

A reminder that all are welcome to the first of our Justice Lectures! King's Dr. Doug Harink will be reflecting on what the book of Romans has to teach us about justice. Remember, too, that our next lectures will be October 19 (When Pandemic Meets Poverty) and October 26 (Sir John A's Severed Head) - see Micah Centre events or The King's University 's website for details and registration.
