Yesterday I painted a small bench for a customer. Top of bench was painted with Annie Sloan Coco and legs painted with Old Ochre, Coco mix. I have been asked lately if I will be having any workshops in the near future. Well, the answer is yes. My new space is small and cannot fit in workshops. Outdoor workshops will be available, but we will have to wait till next spring for those. I'm just firming up some dates at a brand new business in town on Lakeshore Road. This display has been painted in Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue. Love this colour. This soft greenish blue stems from the first discovery of a good blue pigment in the 18th Century, which was then lightened with white. It can be described as a Rococo blue, as nothing says French and Swedish interiors quite like this colour. Open Thurs. to Sat. 10-5. /penny
