When the trees behind cabin 10 fell down early this spring in a storm we wondered what we could do with this empty space. Seeing as we had to close our WiFi room to guests this year due to Covid we thought how perfect to set up a bench outside in its place. Getting some good use already ;)

Without fail every Saturday on our turnover day one of our guests will shout out....Who you gonna call? Ghost Busters! Then they will proceed to ask if they can take my picture This backpack is filled with disinfectant we spray in the cabins between guest's stay. This is one of the measures we are taking at The Pines Cottage Resort to make sure we keep ourselves and our guests safe so you can enjoy a much needed vacation at the cottage.

We have heard your pleas and happy to announce that The Pines now has two brand new stand up paddle boards! Seeing as we have had to remove so many things this year due to Covid this only seemed fair :)

We have been working hard at updating our policies and procedure to ensure everyone can enjoy a much needed escape at the cottage. In response to the virus we have had to adjust some of our regular routines to meet the requirements laid out by the government. These new protocols are a condition of us being allowed to be open. Please note these guidelines are not forever and may even change before your arrival. However, we would like to prepare you as these changes include some request from our guests. Important Information about COVID 19 Summer Update 2020 Learn more before booking.... As you know our resort is closed at this time and have not yet been given the green light to open. However, that isn’t stopping us from planning and remaining optimistic about the summer. There is no question that our expectation of summer is going to be different than what we have grown accustomed to but we are working hard towards finding a balance of keeping everyone safe while enjoying a much needed escape. The timelines and details to reopening are still being considered and we await guidelines from the province to get the official go ahead. We will update this information once we are allowed to open. In saying that, we have made some decisions based on our current circumstances that will take effect at The Pines upon opening. This is not to say that these guidelines are forever and may even change before your arrival, but we would like to prepare our guests for some upcoming and possible changes we will have to make. Bringing to you this year's management team! Molly will be returning as daytime manager after being away on maternity leave. Wendy will be returning as onsite/after hours manager in the spring and fall and we welcome Lesley and family back for the summer months.... We are looking forward to welcoming back returning guests and getting to know new ones.
