Every day , when we sit still and listen, in this silence along with patience, our Authentic Self will reveal itself, one layer at a time.

Good morning. Here is the three card spread for you, for this coming week (September 21st to the 27th). First card: The Garden and the Gate. This card upright bodes well for the financial scene. There may be a lot of money or other personal pleasures coming your way at this time. But be aware! The choice to stay in the seaming security of this lovely garden may actually be motivated by habit or a fear of the unknown. ... While it's fine to amass a great deal of wealth, don't let it keep you from living your truth. You have the choice to shift your focus, widen your spiritual perspective, and gain the world that is just outside your gate. Second card: Appreciation The woman in the picture is choosing to focus her attention on the single rose rather than focusing on the priclky branches of difficulties that are all around her. This card upright is telling you that you have much to be grateful for and there is more to come that you can't see. Congratulate yourself for every moment that you choose appreciation. This decision shifts your consciousness from lack to value, and it's guaranteed to bring more worth and richness of life to you. Third card: First Chakra Archangel Michael (reversed) When this card shows up in a reversed position, you may be facing some significant challenges and even some more difficult emotions. The energy of your first chakra (the root or base chakra) may be blocked. This blocked energy could also signal financial worry or desperation. Every morning, at the beginning of my day, I perform what I called "My morning ritual". A ritual that helps me to connect with the Reiki energy and my own spiritual energy, and get me grounded for the day ahead. As I come into my bedroom - which has a patio door and access to our deck - and as I prepare myself for my ritual, I look outside and there, on the railing, is a mourning dove, looking at me. I quickly grabbed my camera and took a picture of it. I have seen blue ...jays and a red cardinal standing on that railing throughout the summer, but this is the first time a mourning dove comes so close to me. The thing is, on many of my walks this summer, a lone mourning dove crossed my path. I have researched the possible "spiritual meaning" of mourning doves, and they apparently bring us a message of life, hope, renewal and peace. I surely need that at this time in my life, and so does the whole world! I am so grateful for birds, not only are they beautiful to look at but their songs and their presence always lift my spirit and at that moment, I feel a special connection with the Divine. Thank you beautiful bird, for being there this morning!

When I walk into a forest, I talk to the trees. I tell them how beautiful they are and how grateful I am that they are part of my world. I tell them all my secrets, good or bad. And at that moment, I feel connected to the Divine, I feel connected to my soul. The trees and I become one. We become one with the universe. It brings such joy to my whole being and I leave the forest in peace. Have you talk to a tree lately? Give it a try. You never know what might happen!

Sometimes the process of healing can be painful, but it is worth it.

I woke up this morning into a dream where I was faced with a situation where I had the choice to go back and give up or to hold on and move forward into uncertainty - I choose to not give up. I actually woke up almost thinking out loud, I will not give up! Talk about an inspiring dream! So my friends, sometimes it feels easier just to give up and stop trying but, I believe moving forward is a better option because at the end of a dark day, the sun is always shining.

It is so easy to waste our precious time!

I took a look in the mirror, and behold, I saw myself! My true self! If you don't see yourself the first time, keep looking. Practice makes perfect!

Today, I have started a "Self-love Journey", a challenge taken from the book "Energy Speaks - Messages from Spirit on Living, Loving, and Awakening" by Lee Harris. It consists of a three-week period where you have to devote at least three hours a week to your self-love and self-care. This is three separate hours where I will have to do something I love or discover something new that I didn't know I love. During those chosen time slots, I will have to turn off my phone and ...laptop! There are other guidelines in the book of course, a whole chapter is dedicated to the self-love journey. So for the next three weeks, I will often post on the subject of self-love, loving ourselves. It is not always an easy thing to do - loving ourselves, but it should be a priority in our lives, especially in the times we are living now. At the end of the three-week period, I will share how the whole experience went. Wish me luck!
