Thanks to special project funding we were able to expand the Pantry Project and offer specialized hampers throughout the past few months in response to food insecurity brought on by COVID-19. We continue to help fight food insecurities through our Pantry Project which is available during our regular program hours at the Centre.

Greetings from the SPLASH Centre. This is what Staff walked in to find this morning. We are quite literally a SPLASH Centre today. We are working diligently on cleaning up the mess and ensuring safety for afternoon programming. We anticipate opening as per normal operating time at 2:00 today - but please be sure to continue to monitor our page or call (today and in the coming days with the threat of Hurricane Teddy looming). We are lobbying for a solution - and appreciate your support with this.

Parents/Caregivers/Supportive Adults.... PLEASE be vigilant with what your child(ren) are doing online!

The Splash Centre 31.05.2020

To our Participants and Caregivers, Due to the current weather conditions predicted for this weekend (and potentially next week with uncertainty surrounding Hurricane Teddy), we ask that you call the Centre (596-2400) or monitor our Facebook page @SplashCentre to ensure operating hours are not impacted. The current condition of the roof is causing complications within the facility and at times, the rain makes it impossible to operate. We hope, however, the impact of this ...weather system, the those to come, will be minimal. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this. Please know we are working towards finding a solution to ensure our programming is not further jeopardized and we would appreciate your support moving forward. Be Kind & Stay Safe! - Maggie & the SPLASH Centre team.

Take Back the Night will look a little different this year but The Town of Bay Roberts & CAV wanted to make sure we continue to support survivors and make the m...essage very clear that violence towards women will not be tolerated. For the last number of years, we have come together to march against violence. We chant and take posters that have messages against violence and seeking safer streets & communities. This year we are asking you to still make your fancy or not so fancy posters (no judgments here!) and send us pictures of you and your signs! We will put them all together and make a post online showing our campaign for the region! We welcome participation from everybody! Send your poster pictures to: [email protected] See more
