It’s heartbreaking to see history repeat itself over and over again. How many black lives and families have to be damaged or lost for things to change? We need social reform. We need laws and regulations to change. As a foot specialist, I pride myself in treating every single patient with the respect and dignity they deserve. Feet are feet and it’s my duty to treatment them the best I can. I know being a law enforcement officer can be difficult and situations can be very da...ngerous for them, but if they held true to protecting and serving the community, the last thing on their mind should be causing the people they interact with harm. We need more training and rules in place to eliminate the use of deadly force. We need more training to prepare officers in high stress environments to use other methods than shooting and fatally harming people. We need change and we need it now. A pedicure at home, because your feet deserve some luxury treatment: Step 1: Fill a tub with warm water. Add a desired amount of foot soak or Epsom salts. Soak your feet for at least 510 minutes. Step 2: Dry your feet with a towel, and use a pumice stone or foot file to remove hard skin. Apply a foot scrub to exfoliate, then rinse and towel-dry.... Step 3: Apply heel balm or foot butter to hydrate them. Step 4: Trim and shape your toenails to prevent ingrown nails. Prepare for nail polish by pushing back your cuticles with a cuticle pusher.
