Last week we viewed some electric school buses at Dynamic Specialty Vehicles. These ones are made by Bluebird. Unfortunately they are still very expensive and the driving range is not yet up to what we require. Hopefully this changes soon so we can add these to our fleet.

Ahhh memories of when we had NO SNOW ! :) Can't wait for spring

Good Morning everyone, I hope your day is going good aside from all the rain and wind. I wanted to inform the parents that we have a new email address for everyone to send dispatch messages to. If you child does not require service, please emial [email protected] :) Thank you everyone again for being patient with us.

For the parents: we've had a change in staffing for our route manager. So please if you have a request for secondary stop or address change please email me directly [email protected] as i only have a limited access to emails sent to the previous manager. Most request i have, i have been able or are in the process of placing students. My most limited area is in vancouver, alot of these busses are full (mostly for rose des vents and jules verne so they will take a ...little longer. I will try to email those families in the next day or two to let you know who you are. Please be patient with me, as you already have been and i hope to get everything sorted in a timely manner. I just want to put this out there for all the thirdwave drivers and staff. Thank you everyone for all your help these past few months. Things are going to be a little insane for a bit but i think we can all do it. Thank you for a job well done!!! To my two ladies in the house (you know who you are) we kicked ass yeaterday!!!! Thank you both for all your help. Caroline too if this reaches you by chance

As you alll know school start ups can be difficult on everyone. Parents new to schools please be patient with us while we are trying to place everyone safely on the busses. Most schools have early dismissal on the first day check with your school to find out times. Routes are posted on our website at www.thirdwavebus.com Drivers : thank you for all your help getting everything ready for tuesday it will be a big day for us all. Thank you for a wonderful hard working summer that you helped us get through. Here is to another great school year!

We are currently being flooding with calls so please accept our apologies if not all requests go through right away we are doing the best we can. The office is open today, and will reopen Tuesday September 8th, most schools on the first day are only 1 to 2 hours. During this weekend we will not be taking any requests for changes to routes.

Day 3 of our crazy insane week. I just wanted to give a big shout out to all our great drivers who are helping out with all the non LPGA stuff, you guys rock! Wouldnt get through it without. Great big thank you. And of course to all the drivers and supervisors at the different sites for the LPGA you guys are doing great too keep up the great work. Were almost half way there thank you everyone again. We cant do it without you all. We also had a new family member delievered yesterday. She weighed in at around 14000 lbs.

Reminder: Friday, February 20th is a PROVINCIAL PRO-D DAY. No public schools will be in session. Buses for Richmond Christian School, St. Georges School and Fraser Academy will operate as normal. ALL other buses (including those for CSF schools) will NOT be running.

REMINDER: Monday, February 9th is a STATUTORY HOLIDAY. No schools will be open and no buses will be running!
