This week, we kick off a new teaching series! We will be looking in the Bible at heart attitudes that become habits, the "Habitudes", in our lives which can lead to abundant life and lasting transformation. God doesn’t want us to just do better in our lives, He wants us to be better as He lives His life through ours. If you’re tired of broken resolutions and a spiritual life that doesn’t translate into real life, join us as we begin 2021 by allowing the Bible to form the Habitudes of God in our lives.
This January, most of our mid-week ministries will be shifting to online programming only during the COVID-19 province wide lockdown. Our students and women’s ministries will offer online options and all the details will updated on our website. Our senior adult ministry will be suspended until COVID-19 restrictions have lifted and we are able to host our Wednesday Bible study in-person at the Orangeville site.
The beginning of a new year is often the time we make resolutions that don’t usually last in an attempt to do better in life. God doesn’t just want us to do better, He wants us to be better! This Sunday, January 10 we begin our new series called Habitudes! Join us online at 10am as we look in the Bible at the habits and attitudes that lead to life change.
Are you planning on coming to our Christmas Drive-Thru? Let us know! Remember to share with your friends and family so they can join in the fun!
Today our Day 7 prayer focus is for 'the least of these.' God’s heart goes out to the broken, the anxious, the fragile, the lost and hopeless and the displaced. At Compass we seek to be known by love to those around us by meeting the practical needs in the lives of those who are struggling but also loving them by caring enough to pray for them.
Andrew continues our Advent series, Home for Christmas, with a look at how our faith journey is similar to the journey the Wise Men made in their search for a King. Join us online at 10am or for an in-person service at the Orangeville site at 9 or 11am! Visit thisiscompass.com to reserve your spot, and for more details about events coming up this Christmas.
There's snow place like home! What does your perfect holiday weather look like?
As a part of our Advent services we will be lighting a candle each week as a reminder that Jesus has come as the Light of the World at Christmas time. Join us at home by gathering five candles, one for each Sunday and a Christ candle to be lit on Christmas Eve. As we light our candle during the service, light yours at home along with us as we move towards Christmas. Plan on coming to our Christmas Drive-Thru and you will receive a candle you can place in the center of your advent wreath!
Are you planning on coming to the Compass Christmas Drive-Thru? We want to remind you to shop for some extra items for our local Food Banks as we will have an opportunity for you to drop your gift off as you drive-thru on December 13,14, or 15th!
