It's Monday! Here at the studio, we love coffee! We need coffee. How complicated is your coffee style? Are you the type to spend ages mulling over regions of origin and milk varieties or gamble on the daily brew or stick to your usual/keep it simple? I am unapologetically a creature of habit which I’m pretty sure mirrors my classic stylings. How do you take your coffee and what does it say about you?

Still dreaming of this 200 year old ceiling from a trip last year. Constantly trying to find a project where we can try and do something this amazing and dramatic with current day amenities like pot lights or chandeliers. Where so you find inspiration?

You may have heard me say it before, (let’s be honest, you’ll PROBABLY hear me say it again) but I! LOVE! MY! JOB! And while I could go on all day about why I’ll limit this post to my single favorite part: I am constantly challenging the perception of my own limits, engaging others in the full redefinition of them. I’ve always been a pragmatic creative, and running this design business on my own, now with the help of the team at Thornton Design we are stretching our limits and expanding our creativity everyday. There’s nothing like the feeling I get when the obstacles that once seemed impossible are whittled down to minor speed bumps with a little grit and creativity. What do you love most about what you do, friend?
