Csa members! As you may have noticed or soon will, in an effort to become a leading csa I have changed my membership invoices. You will now receive a weekly statement of account which shows the amount of every delivery you receive. When the bottom right arrow reaches the top left it is now time to make a deposit. Best news is although every bag contains a set amount of seasonal produce you can now add on extras. So let's say if covid ever ends and we start having company ov...er for supper and you wish to add an extra box of tomatoes when in season the extra amount can be taken out of your account. Also soon you will be able pay by visa or debit on my website. No more etransfers. Also if any remaining members have not messaged and wish to join again be sure pm me to hold your spot. Payment not necessary to week before delivery. here's to a great season ahead. See more
Some cabbage micro this week. I'm thinking something along the lines of some kind coleslaw for mine. I might call it superslaw seeing packed with so much nutrition and flavour.
In an effort to be a little more environmentally friendly I am writing everyones names on their plastic containers. I use these containers because I find they preserve the freshness longest, prevent wilt ect. If you so choose you can place them in return bag and I will refill following week. Just simply give a quick rinse and air dry (do not use soap as it will leave a residue taste to greens). When you decide you would like a new one just simply put in recycling and I will use a new container next delivery
Although the frost may have killed these potatoes it didn’t hurt the goodness in the soil. Planted late on July 15 to beat the bugs 1 plant producing 1 qt baby blue potato

Folks this is some of the best Caesar salad you’ll ever eat. Three hill farm fresh romaine lettuce, Karl’s bakery croutons, and of course Renees Caesar dressing. This is the first time this year I’m sending out straight romaine lettuce and I’ll see if I can get Karl throw in some croutons for next delivery
Sneak peak todays delivery
Some hot peppers sent out yesterday. While the hottest of peppers can have a scoville (heat units)of over 2 million these jalapeño and chilis run about 5000sc, pretty tame although I wouldn’t wanna try biting into one. An idea with yesterday’s delivery to try would be some pickled spicy dilly beans.
Monster crop butterbeans coming out field today even grandma came over to help. Thanks gma
Thought I’d add this as I sent out some corn and eggplant yesterday. Grilled eggplant one of my favs
