In preventing #VAW, Family Service Ontario agencies have provided decades of public education to raise awareness of relationship safety, domestic abuse, and mental health. Our agencies are among the few service providers offering treatment to women, men, and children.

It's International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Family Service agencies' safe, accessible services support women to avoid or leave domestic violence situations. Registered therapists provide therapy to help women overcome #VAW trauma and rebuild their lives

Substance abuse and #addictions require professional treatment. Family Service agencies employ registered therapists with specialized training to provide in-house treatment when possible, or warm hand offs to local partners for those with complex needs. #NAAW
