POETS!! WRITERS!! PERFORMERS!! For those of you seriously missing live gatherings, this may be the next best thing! WORD CAMP VIRTUAL SERIES, a seven-week online workshop series exploring a dynamic range of spoken word, storytelling, hip hop, vocal technique, trauma informed expressive writing, creative non-fiction and song writing. Facilitated by awesome artists from across Turtle Island. Free for youth aged 16-29.(but I'm sure they'd let you in if you're over the hill and ...30) Deadline to sign up is Friday October 16th @midnight: http://www.vancouverpoetryhouse.com/wordplay/wordcamp The series is two-fold: seven weeks of online workshops offered in a group setting through zoom, and a mentorship program for youth who are really passionate and want to gain more personalized insight into their craft with one of the facilitators.
